Visual excerpts of traditional Korean folktales my mother told me. "Bangmangi" is a large spiky club carried by dokebi (a type of mischievous goblin) most coveted by humans. The bangmangi is used as a weapon, but also has the power to materialize anything one wishes—the only catch is that anything it conjures has been taken from someone else in the world.
